Nominet charges considerably less for .UK than VRSN does for .com, PIR does for .org, Afilias does for .info, or Neustar does for .biz. Nominet's lawyer has said that due to the way they're set up, refunds would be illegal. Sounds like greedy domainer slime to me. Why aren't they demanding that PIR stop funding the IETF?
