A new listener from audio.weblogs.com asks the question: what in the world are you talking about? Good question. Is the podcast too much "inside baseball"? I also provide a few more thoughts on the ICANN-Verisign deal which, I predict in my infinite knowledge, will be posted late today. (iPro Radio Episode 70 / 11 Minutes).

I cover a lot of ground today, from the organizational meeting of the Internet Governance Forum to the ICANN-VRSN settlement to new gTLDs to the At Large Advisory Committee. (iPro Radio 69 / 13 Minutes). Header Music: Theme from Bret Fausett's Podcast or Some Other Name Yet To Be Announced.

My first podcast of the new year, but not for lack of trying. I explain
why Apple's Garageband 3.0 may not be the best podcasting tool for most
users. I discuss my trip to Geneva next month to participate in the
Convening Meeting of the U.N.'s Internet Governance Forum, and I talk
about the great feedback that Susan Crawford, Joi Ito and Vint Cerf are
getting through weblogs. (iPro Radio 68 / 12 Minutes).
Apology: I'm rusty. The levels on the mixer were set wrong, and the podcast is too heavy on the bass. Fixed for next time but for today I sound like I'm underwater. |
