In today's show, I talk about how users listen to this podcast...or don't. And, incredibly, I have a message for everyone who's not listening. In other words, it's the obligatory podcast about the podcast. (iPro Radio 66 / 10 Minutes) Header Music: "Canterbury" by Kevin Johnson.

I listen to (most of) your podcasts. But I'd rather they were available as text. Have you considered using voice recognition to generate transcripts, for those who prefer to get info that way? I don't live in Los Angeles, don't own or want a car, and don't listen to recorded audio while commuting. (It's neither legal nor safe while bicycling.)
My big problem with audio is that I have to listen to the entire podcast (7-10 minutes) to determine if their *might* be something in it I want to hear. That feels very "controlling" -- I have to listen to the whole bundle, or nothing. I could scan that amount of text in 15 seconds to see if I want to read it, spend only as much time as I want studying it, and focus that time on the parts that interest me. Not to mention text being searchable, which isn't yet possible for audio. I think it is hugely valuable to post primary sources of audio of meetings, but I'd read (or at least scan) more of your ideas if they were posted as text than if I have to devote 10 minutes per podcast to them.
On the other hand, I'm sure there are people who wouldn't read a blog, but would listen to a podcast. In the long term, perhaps more of them, just as more people watch TV news than read newspapers. And my own writing is far from concise.
