Podcasting through the Grammy Nominees
Episode One, in which I take on one of the 107 categories of Grammy nominations and play all of the nominated songs in the category (plus a few others). Yeehaw!

I listened today to the iProRadio 17 Grammy program. I really enjoyed it, but I have two criticisms.
1. Your voice is too loud relative to the music. If I crank up the music, your voice almost blew out my speakers. It needs to come down, or the music come up, or do some compression. 2. You are too close to the microphone. You need 12-15 inches to avoid pops on "p", 'b" and other explosive consonants. Or get an air dam. It was nasty several times during this podcast. Thanks for the feedback,. Sorry about the explosive consonants. I'm trying to work on finding the optimal levels for voice and music. The leaning into the microphone is a hard habit to break. I usually test my levels a good 12 inches away from the microphone and start gravitating in as the podcast goes on. I should probably build a forehead brace to keep me away. ;-) Thanks again. Keep listening. I'll learn!
