I just couldn't hold my wonder after I read the denoucement. Just where did Senator Coleman get his evidance from that shows China and Cuba "have little or no commitment to the free flow of information." If Senator does have some, I would like to see them.
In the other hand, I wonder, does Senator propose the unlimited access to on online pornograph? Online gambling? And online money laundry? Or even "phishing"? Those are "free flow of information" too! Does the US commit to the free flow of those information? I guess not. If Senator Coleman has done more research on WSIS and studied more about WGIG's report, he would discover there are much more than just the control over the root. Should we all agree that the US to take on a leadership role in Internet Governance, I guess so, however, it doesn't have to mean "governing" the root. Trackbacks
