google wants to dominate all the internet sectors starting from search engine, to blogging to web hosting (space datacenter, guess what they are hiring http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html ) and now domain name.
i just hope they wont offer free domain name as it will kill small domain name registrars. juancruz http://www.pesodomain.com Re: Re: Google is a Registrar
I think Google will expand its entity to other related internet field, start from search engine, email, bloging, and now as registar too. I think other corporate will do the same way with Google, let's say Microsoft, after play in field of Operating System, it started come to internet by create Bing as search engine, the want to buy Yahoo too but failed, cause they have large ability they will take the best opportunity to extend its existency. I think it's normal as company mission. reborns dolls

well, if they have a good bulk register api, and offer $5/dom, they may steal all the spam domain revenue from places like registerfly and moniker... both of those nics make a killing off that, which is a pitty.
