A note about my comments policy. I allow comments here on my weblog, but I reserve the right to delete them if they are wholly meritless (in my sole opinion). Spam falls into that category, and so do ad hominem attacks and unsupported aspersions. I deleted a comment posted last night about the Afilias stories below because it didn't relate to the point I was making and was wholly unsupported. I'm happy to lend the comment section of this web space for civil discourse and public debate, but I won't let it fall victim to the sort of mean-spirited dialogue that has ruined so many of the ICANN-related fora.
