On January 26, 2004, we concluded negotiations with ICANN staff concerning certain conditions for the launch of the Wait Listing Service (WLS). ICANN staff sought approval of those conditions from the ICANN Board during its February 18, 2004 special meeting. The ICANN Board did not grant the requested approval during its meeting, but adopted a resolution to place this matter on the agenda for the publicly held Board meeting scheduled to be held on March 6, 2004 in Rome, Italy.
