This is interesting: "LadasDomains is unique to the registrar market. The company has been established by Ladas & Parry LLP, a law firm that has focused strictly on matters of intellectual property for 90 years...." I probably would have gone the reseller route (hmmm, come to think of it, I did :-), but this makes a lot of sense too. I'll be curious to see how it works out.

SRSPLUS? Oye! We like OpenSRS.org but I have to admit that I know those folks. :)

I selected SRSPlus on the basis of one thing: choice of law. At the time, SRSPlus was based in Universal City, CA, and it said that all suits about the domain names or against the registrar had to be filed in Los Angeles County. That's where I live! OpenSRS says that choice of law is Canada. That's a big difference (for me). If OpenSRS wants to give me choice of law and venue in California, I'll switch in a heartbeat.
