The Shadow Board
A great idea: The Shadow Board. I wonder whether the ALAC could become this sort of "shadow" booard.

Hmmm, if one goes and reads ICANNWatch, that was my suggestion.....

And, as I updated:
UPDATE: I should point out that the idea for a "shadow board" came from a broader suggestion by GeorgeK on ICANNWatch to create a "shadow ICANN." I saw his idea as too broad. Shadow PR, Shadow GNSO, Shadow At-Large... that would be much too large. Narrow it to just a shadow board that debates and votes based on things that happen in the "real" ICANN's GNSO and other SOs. But credit where it is due - without GeorgeK's original idea, I wouldn't have had this one. Re: Re: Re: The Shadow Board

It's a copy of the identical idea, not narrowing of a single broader idea. The Shadow Fed is not a shadow of every employee of the Federal Reserve -- it's just a shadow of their board. ShadowICANN.com/net/org are now safely reg'd, to avoid any further idea attribution problems.

Calm down, George. Your idea suggested a broader scope. If that's not what you meant, so be it - that's how I read it, and I chose to constrain the idea and post it.
If that's what you really meant, then I hereby state that this was, in its entirety, George's idea first. Mea maxima culpa for not understanding what should have been, apparently, obvious to everyone except me. Now relax. It's still a good idea. Since you registered the domain, I hope you're going to do something with it, yes? Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: The Shadow Board

On my own schedule...I'm busier working on some of the poker domains I've acquired. $$$ before politics, as ICANN politics don't pay the bills.
